Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read, navigate, and use this site, whatever tools they use to do so. Last reviewed October 9, 2026.
Our standard
This website is designed and tested to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice in its ADA guidance for web content.
What we have done
- Body text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, a typeface designed by the Braille Institute to improve character recognition for readers with low vision.
- All text meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background; interface components and focus indicators meet 3:1.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. Focus is always visible and is never hidden behind other content. A “skip to main content” link is the first item on every page.
- Pages use consistent landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), a single top-level heading, and a logical heading order for screen-reader navigation.
- Images carry meaningful text alternatives; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms have visible labels, clear instructions, inline error messages announced to assistive technology, and browser autofill support.
- Text can be resized to 200 percent and the layout reflows to a 320-pixel-wide viewport without horizontal scrolling.
- Nothing moves, flashes, or plays automatically. Motion respects the “reduce motion” operating-system setting.
- Link and button targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Known limitations
- The online donation checkout is provided by a third party (Fundraise Up). We have chosen it in part for its accessibility support, but we do not control its code.
- The Bible study app is a separate product in beta. Its accessibility is being improved as part of ongoing development; please report any barriers you find in it.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts. If they fail to load, the site falls back to your system's fonts and remains fully usable.
